A German singer/songwriter who got her start as a teenager, Claudia Koreck was first discovered by a Munich radio station.
Born on May 28, 1986, in Traunstein, Koreck started out singing in English, but eventually began singing in a Bayerische dialect. Her big break came about when her single "Fliang" (Flying) was picked up by Munich radio station Bayern 3, and in August of 2007 Koreck released her first album, also called Fliang. Koreck is also a member of Menschenskinder, and with that group she released a single in 1996. A DVD entitled I Kon Fliang was released in 2008. In addition, she is the leader of her own Claudia Koreck Band, which includes Andreas Dombert, Manfred Muller, and Andreas Schellinger. ~ Chris True
